Abilene Christian and New Mexico State To Play In 2024

Abilene Christian announced the addition of New Mexico State to its 2024 schedule. The two schools will meet on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The teams have met once before on the football field. New Mexico State survived 34-29 in 2013, but not before a late rally from the Wildcats. John David Baker threw for 428 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Taylor Gabriel had a record night with 15 catches for 188 yards.

New Mexico State has a few FCS teams on their future schedules. The Aggies will face Texas Southern (2020) and Dixie State (2021) with plenty of open dates beyond 2022.

Abilene Christian will travel to take on FBS opponents Texas A&M (2020 and 2023), SMU (2021), Kansas State (2022), and Texas Tech (2024 and 2025) over the next six seasons.
