The Gardner-Webb Bulldogs and East Carolina Pirates will meet on the football field in 2023 according to FBSchedules.
East Carolina will welcome the Bulldogs for a single game series on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The Bulldogs will receive a guarantee of $350,000 according to a copy of the contract reviewed by FBSchedules.
The two teams met for the first time last season with East Carolina cruising to a 48-9 victory.
East Carolina currently has FCS teams Norfolk State (2020), Charleston Southern (2021), and Campbell (2022) on its future schedules.
As for Gardner-Webb, they will face FBS foes Georgia Tech (2020), Ohio (2021), Liberty (2022), and Appalachian State (2023).
