Bryant Swaps Out Robert Morris for Merrimack on 2020 Schedule

The Bryant Bulldogs have made a scheduling change for the upcoming season as first reported by FBSchedules. The Bulldogs have removed Robert Morris and replaced them with Merrimack on November 7.

Merrimack’s football schedule shows a bye date for November 7 as of this writing while Bryant’s website reflects the removal of Robert Morris and the addition of Merrimack. Robert Morris’ website still shows the game against Bryant on November 7. Bryant was scheduled to host Robert Morris and they will still host Merrimack on November 7.

Bryant was previously not scheduled to face Merrimack. Robert Morris will move to the Big South starting in 2021 and the Colonials will be classified as an independent for the 2020.

Bryant is now scheduled to play the other 7 football members of the Northeast Conference. The Bulldogs have 9 games scheduled for the 2020 season after the cancellation of games against Fordham and Brown.

For Merrimack, the addition of Bryant would replace the opening game against Holy Cross. That game was canceled when the Patriot League decided to suspend fall sports.

Robert Morris still sits at 11 games after the recent news of the matchup against Hawaii on September 26.
