The Lehigh Mountain Hawks (Patriot League) have released their 2025 schedule comprising 7 conference games and 5 non-conference games. The season kicks off with a conference battle at home against Patriot League newcomer Richmond on Saturday, August 30 followed by non-conference tilts against Sacred Heart (FCS Independent) on September 6 at home and a trip to Duquesne (Northeast) on Saturday, September 13.
Lehigh will have its second Patriot League contest at Bucknell on Saturday, September 20 followed by three consecutive non-conference games against Ivy League opponents. Lehigh will welcome Penn (Saturday, September 27) and Yale (Saturday, October 4) to Bethlehem and then close out its non-conference slate at Columbia on Saturday, October 11. Lehigh will have a bye week on Saturday, October 18. There is no FBS opponent on the schedule, which is typical as Lehigh has only played two FBS opponents in the last 20 years (Navy in 2018 and Army in 2024).
The Mountain Hawks will end the 2025 season with five straight conference games: at Fordham on Saturday, October 25, home to Georgetown on Saturday, November 1, home to Holy Cross on Saturday, November 8, at Colgate on Saturday, November 15, and at Lafayette on Saturday, November 22. The Lehigh-Lafayette matchup is slated to be the 161st meeting of The Rivalry.
Speaking of The Rivalry, a win is all that separates Lehigh from winning the Patriot League Automatic Qualifying berth into the 2024 FCS Playoffs. The regular season finale is slated to kick off at 12 PM Eastern Time and a victory would see the Mountain Hawks reach the FCS Playoffs for the first time since 2017.
