Bryant and Hampton Add Division II Opponents for 2025

It was a busy day for CAA teams with the release of the 2025 schedule. Bryant and Hampton both added previously unknown NCAA Division II opponents for next season.

The Hampton Pirates will welcome the Elizabeth City State Vikings on September 6, 2025. The Vikings are a member of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). Hampton leads the all-time series 15-7-3 with the most recent game occurring in 2019 when Hampton demolished ECSU 65-7

Former Northeast-10 Conference rivals Bryant and Bentley will renew their series for the first time since 2007. Bryant will welcome the Wildcats on Saturday, September 13 holding a three-game winning streak in the series. Bentley holds a slight 5-4 edge in the all-time series that took place annually from 1999 through 2007 before Bryant moved from Division II to Division I.

There are 10 FCS versus NCAA Division II games scheduled for the 2025 season with many more on the way once 2025 schedules are finalized throughout the subdivision.
