There were to future FCS-FBS games announced this week beginning with Prairie View A&M and Michigan State for the 2024 season. The contest was recently revealed by MSU and the two teams will meet on Saturday, September 14 in East Lansing. The two schools have not played each other in football.
For games beyond 2024, one matchup was added for 2027. According to FBSchedules, South Dakota will play at Kansas State on Saturday, September 4. The two schools have met three times since South Dakota became an FCS member. Kansas State has won two separate matchups by a score of 34-0 (2015 and 2022) and held on to win 27-24 in 2018.
There are now 120 FCS-FBS matchups scheduled for 2024, tied with 2022 for the most in a single season. A list of all future FCS versus FBS games can be found here while a searchable database of games from 1978 through 2023 can be found here.
