The Morehead State Eagles (Pioneer Football League) are set to open the 2025 season against the Allen University Yellow Jackets, according to Allen’s 2025 schedule. Allen is a member of the NCAA Division II Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) located in Columbia, South Carolina.
The 2025 matchup will be the first football meeting between Morehead State and Allen. The Yellow Jackets went 2-8 in 2024, finishing in a three-way tie for last place in the SIAC. Morehead State went 7-5 overall and finished in a three-way tie for 3rd place in the PFL alongside Butler and St. Thomas. Head coach Jason Woodman was awarded a contract extension following the season that could potentially see him stay with the Eagles through the 2028 season.
Morehead State hasn’t released its entire 2025 schedule but is slated to play at Illinois State (MVFC) on September 6 and at Austin Peay (UAC) on September 13.
