Jackson State Adds Tuskegee to 2025 Schedule

The Jackson State Tigers (SWAC) have released their 2025 schedule and added the Tuskegee Golden Tigers for the upcoming season. Tuskegee is a member of the NCAA Division II Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

The battle of the Tigers will take place on Saturday, September 13, in Jackson, Mississippi. It will be the fourth all-time meeting between the schools in football. Jackson State won the first two matchups in 1992 and 1993 but it was Tuskegee that won the most recent game in 2017. The Golden Tigers held a 13-7 halftime lead en route to a 33-7 final score with the game being played in Mobile, Alabama.

Jackson State is coming off a very successful 2024 season in which the Tigers finished 12-2 with victories in the SWAC Championship and Celebration Bowl en route to the 2024 HBCU National Championship. The Tigers have a full 12-game schedule including matchups against Southern Miss (Sun Belt) on Saturday, September 6 and the HBCU Classic on October 25 versus Grambling State in Las Vegas, Nevada.
