The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions (SWAC) will welcome the Westgate Christian University Ravens to Simmons Bank Field in 2025. The two teams are scheduled to meet in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on Saturday, October 11, according to WCU’s website and first reported by FBSchedules.
Westgate Christian is a member of the New South Athletic Conference (NSAC), which was formed in 2020. WCU played its first season in 2024 with a mix of NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and non-affiliated opponents. The NSAC will begin sponsoring football with the 2025 season, according to its website.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff hasn’t released its complete 2025 schedule but will open at Texas Tech (Big 12) on Saturday, August 30, followed by a second straight road game at Central Arkansas (UAC) on Saturday, September 6. The Golden Lions went 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the SWAC during the 2024 season.
