Three FCS teams have added a 2025 non-conference matchup against teams outside NCAA Division I. The Cal Poly Mustangs (Big Sky) released its 2025 schedule, which includes a week three matchup against the Western Oregon Wolves on Saturday, September 13. Cal Poly is 2-0 all-time against Western Oregon with wins in 2007 and 2024. WOU is a football affiliate of the Division II Lone Star Conference.
The Morgan State Bears (MEAC) added a game against the Miles College Golden Bears on Saturday, September 27, as noted by FBSchedules. The teams are meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana in the Circle City Classic. Miles is a member of the NCAA Division II Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). It will be the first matchup between the teams.
The Valparaiso Beacons (PFL) added a game against the NCAA Division III Adrian College Bulldogs on Saturday, September 6. Adrian plays in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). The two teams met once before in 1926, playing to a 13-13 stalemate.
