Presbyterian Adds NAIA’s Bluefield for 2025

The Presbyterian Blue Hose (PFL) added the Bluefield Rams for a 2025 matchup, according to Bluefield’s athletic website. The two teams will meet on Saturday, September 20, in Clinton, South Carolina.

Bluefield is a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The Rams went 5-6 overall in 2024 and finished in a tie for third place with a 4-2 AAC record. Presbyterian and Bluefield have met twice with the Blue Hose winning comfortably both times by scores of 69-14 in 2014 and 41-10 in 2018.

Presbyterian went 6-6 overall in 2024 and 4-4 in the Pioneer Football League. The six wins tied the 2007 and 2014 seasons as the most in a season since Presbyterian joined the FCS in 2007. The first two Blue Hose opponents are known with games at Southern Conference members Mercer on August 30 and Furman on September 6 while the PFL conference schedule was released in February.
