Per FBSchedules, the New Hampshire Wildcats will travel to play at Western Michigan in the 2022 season.
The 2022 contest is scheduled for Saturday, October 1 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Wildcats have a $350,000 guarantee as part of the contract. This will be the first game between the two schools.
Western Michigan currently has two additional FCS opponents on their schedule over the next two seasons in Colgate (2020) and Illinois State (2021).
New Hampshire will face Kansas to open the 2020 season on Saturday, September 5. They also face Pittsburgh in 2021 and also have a 2026 game at Syracuse scheduled.
The Wildcats finished the 2019 at 5-3 in the Colonial Athletic Association and went 6-5 overall. They have not made the FCS Playoffs the past two seasons. In 2017 they lost in the Quarterfinals to South Dakota State.
