Tarleton State continues to add to their future schedules. According to FBSchedules, they have added six FCS teams to future schedules through the 2025 season.
The six teams that have been added are Bethune-Cookman, Houston Baptist, Kennesaw State, McNeese, Missouri State, and South Dakota State. Tarleton State had already scheduled Bethune-Cookman for October 31 of this season, but has now also added them for October 30, 2021. The Texans will play on the road this season and at home in 2021.
Tarleton State will play against Houston Baptist in a home-and-home series in 2024 and 2025. Houston Baptist will host the 2024 contest while the Texans will be the home team in 2025.
The Texans will play a three game series against Kennesaw State in 2020, 2021, and 2024. The next two seasons will be road games while a home game for Tarleton State will happen in 2024.
McNeese and Tarleton State will play a home-and-home series in 2023 and 2024. McNeese hosts the first game while the 2024 return game will be hosted by the Texans.
Tarleton State and Missouri State will play a home-and-home series in 2020 and 2024. The Texans are at home for 2020 while playing Missouri State on the road in 2024.
Another home-and-home series with South Dakota State will happen in 2021 and 2025. SDSU hosts the 2021 game while Tarleton State will host the return trip in 2025. The Jackrabbits also have a 2021 game versus Delaware State scheduled for the same date (September 11). This latest scheduling news will necessitate a change for that game, however, no further details are known about that contest.
Tarleton State has been on a scheduling tear lately given their move up from Division II to FCS. They will start the 2020 season on September 5 at Sam Houston State.
