Eastern Illinois will travel to Bowling Green to play the Falcons in 2023, according to FBSchedules. The tentative date of the contest is Saturday, September 9, 2023.
According to a copy of the contract obtained by FBSchedules, Eastern Illinois will receive a guarantee of $350,000. The two programs have not met on the football field.
Bowling Green will play an FCS team over the next five seasons including the 2023 game versus Eastern Illinois. They face Robert Morris (2020), Murray State (2021), Eastern Kentucky (2022), and Fordham (2024).
Eastern Illinois is on the schedule of Kentucky (2020), South Carolina (2021), Northern Illinois (2022), and Illinois (2024) over the next five seasons.
The Panthers finished the 2019 season 1-11 with their lone win coming against Tennessee State. They will start the 2020 season against Indiana State on Saturday, September 5.
