Lafayette’s contest against Army scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025 has been canceled according to the Any Given Saturday podcast. Army is still slated to play against Marist on Saturday, September 13, 2025 while Lafayette has Bowling Green scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2025.
In 2026, Idaho will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to play against the Utah Utes on Thursday, September 3 with Idaho set to receive $600,000 for the contest. It will be the first meeting between the teams since 1993 when Idaho defeated Utah 28-17. With those two changes, over 440 FCS versus FBS games have been scheduled through the 2034 season including a record 121 contests in 2024. Eastern Kentucky and Chattanooga will play a home-and-home series in 2026 and 2027, according to FBSchedules. EKU will host the first game on Saturday, September 12, 2026 while Chattanooga will play host the following season on Saturday, September 18. The two teams haven’t met since 2011 when the Mocs won 23-14 and Chattanooga holds the all-time lead at 3-2-1.
