Prairie View A&M Adds Baylor for 2026; Two Big Sky Teams Set Future Opponents

Prairie View A&M has added Baylor to its 2026 schedule, per FBSchedules. The two teams will meet on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with the Panthers set to receive $400,000 for the contest. The two schools have never met previously. There are 455 future games scheduled between FCS and FBS teams including 83 for the 2026 season. A full list of future FCS-FBS matchups can be found here.

The Northern Colorado Bears are slated to play against NCAA Division II opponent Chadron State Eagles (Chadron, Nebraska) in 2025, according to FBSchedules. The Bears will host Chadron State on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and pay the Eagles $50,000. Based on Northern Colorado’s records, the Bears hold a 5-3 edge all-time dating back to 1926. The teams met 7 times between 1926 and 1963 when both schools were members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, where Chadron State remains. The most recent meeting occurred in 2007 when Chadron State won 31-0 on the road during UNC’s second season as a member of the FCS.

Montana and Incarnate Word have agreed to meet for a home-and-home series, courtesy of FBSchedules‘ reporting. Incarnate Word will host the first matchup on Saturday, September 9, 2028, while Montana will play host the following season on Saturday, September 8, 2029. The two teams have never met in football.
