Stetson Adds Warner, Finalizes 2025 Schedule

The Stetson Hatters (PFL) have completed their 2025 schedule, which includes two NAIA programs to start the season. Stetson’s opening game was revealed earlier in 2025 and will be on August 30 against Webber International. The Hatters will then host Warner University the following week on Saturday, September 6. Stetson is 5-0 all-time against Warner including a 35-0 victory in 2024. Both Webber and Warner compete in the Sun Conference.

The first road game will be on Saturday, September 13 at Chattanooga (SoCon) and the non-conference schedule will end with a home game on Saturday, September 20 against Harvard (Ivy League). The PFL opener will be at Dayton on September 27 followed by back-to-back home games against Davidson on October 4 and Morehead State on October 11. October will end with a trip to Presbyterian on October 18 and then a home matchup against St. Thomas (MN) on October 25.

Stetson will have a bye to start November with no game on Saturday, November 1. Stetson will then travel to face Marist on November 8 and Valparaiso on November 15 before the regular season finale at home against San Diego on November 22.

Stetson went 2-9 overall in 2024 with former head coach Brian Young resigning after the season. Young went 13-30 overall and 5-25 in the PFL over his four seasons. The Hatters hired Mike Jasper to take over the program after six successful years with the NAIA’s Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee.
