Wednesday saw one FCS schedule change amidst several FBS cancellations that have occurred this week.
The Campbell Camels and Wake Forest Demon Deacons will now meet on Friday, October 2 instead of the originally scheduled date of Friday, October 9. The change happened due to Wake Forest’s game this week versus Notre Dame being postponed due to multiple Irish players testing positive for coronavirus.
The Camels and Demon Deacons will start at 7 PM Eastern time while being broadcast on the ACC Network. It will be the first meeting between the programs on the gridiron.
Campbell has already completed half of its scheduled fall campaign. They lost a heart breaker to Georgia Southern 27-26 on September 12 and lost 43-21 against Coastal Carolina on September 18.
The Camels visit Appalachian State this weekend before wrapping up its fall schedule next Friday. Campbell will then contend a Big South Conference schedule in the spring.
