The Saturday, November 9 Southland Conference matchup between Northwestern State and Southeastern Louisiana has been moved up from 7 PM Eastern Time to 1 PM ET due to the potential impacts of Hurricane Rafael. Northwestern State is currently 0-9 overall and 0-4 in the Southland Conference while the Lions are sitting in second place at 5-5 overall and 4-1 in conference.
The Valparaiso–Stetson matchup originally scheduled for Saturday, October 12, and postponed due to Hurricane Milton will not be rescheduled. The two teams are near the bottom of the Pioneer Football League standings with Valpo at 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the PFL while Stetson is 2-6 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Mercyhurst (NEC) and Sacramento State (Big Sky) have agreed to a 2025 matchup, according to FBSchedules. The Lakers will travel to Sacramento State on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and receive $260,000 for the matchup. The two teams have never met before as Mercyhurst is at the start of its reclassification from NCAA Division II to Division I.
Robert Morris (NEC) has added West Virginia (Big 12) to its 2029 schedule, per WV’s press release. Robert Morris will travel to Morgantown, West Virginia to play a game on Saturday, September 15, 2029. The two teams will also face off on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in what will be the first matchup between the schools. There are now 25 FCS-FBS matchups scheduled for the 2029 season.
