Tulsa Adds Three Future FCS Opponents

The American Athletic Conference’s Tulsa Golden Hurricanes have added three future games against FCS competition through the 2023 season.

Less than a week after having their 2021 contest at USC canceled, UC Davis will be on the road at Tulsa for the opening week of 2021. It will be the first meeting between the two programs with a scheduled date of Thursday, September 2.

In 2022, Jacksonville State will visit Tulsa on Saturday, September 17. Like the UC Davis matchup, this will be the first meeting between the football programs.

Completing the trifecta in 2023 will be Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The two schools will meet, tentatively, on Saturday, September 2. As with the other announced matchups, this will also be the first meeting between the football teams.

Tulsa will face Northwestern State in 2020 on Saturday, September 19. It will be the second meeting between Tulsa and Northwestern State after Tulsa’s 26-19 win in 1983.
